What just happened?

I am just now 46 years into my life realizing that I can think things and they happen.  Have you ever thought of an outcome and then tadaaaah, it happens?  This has been my day.  Imagine a place where you give yourself permission to use this that GOD gave us?  Imagine what your life would be like?  Love, joy, peace, all available to us with just one thought?  I am giving myself this permission from this day forward! Think it and pass it by my Lord..and it shall be done.  Life throws us opportunity what to do with it? 

Our business Mysmartplans has been just this opportunity for me.  I sometimes tell people that ask, "How did you do this?" "How did you build so fast?"  Will you share your business plan with me?"  I say well it was truly and accident, no limiting business plan, no permission granted from the people I did not ask, I just decided and jumped in and swam in the deep waters, no turning back, no turning around, just deep water.  I have become and expert swimmer, a great diver and have a stronghold on my guiding light.  This is just the thought process I am referring to, I think it and then I ran it by GOD and then tadahhhh!

Where have I been?

I love my new blogging, I just realized I have not been blogging for a couple of days?  What is the world doing without my blog?  Lets just say I was not at the Trump wedding, so I do not have a good excuse.  Here is my blog for the day, SHOW UP...90% of the challenge.  In our world most people have decided that they don't need to show up, they can just set back and do their business through the Internet.  Needless to say face to face can not be replaced by this machine.  Real time, real live people get things done.

Milestones.....

Today is a day of milestones for me and our company, we hit the 2Billion dollar mark on projects being built using Mysmartplans, I remember the day we started, cold calling clients, asking for 15 minutes to share our solution, a business plan would have called this Beta..we called it survival.  A business plan could have not predicted this success, we hired someone to write one for the bank, and honestly I have not ever read it.  I have a plan, it is written down in the bible, it says "great" plans, I place myself there.

On the personal front..today was a milestone for me as well, I was a rager at a stop light, I can honestly say I have never found myself so out of control, it was not at a driver but a lady pushing a stroller, she stopped her buggy and slapped her baby upside the head, she drew back to do it again, I found myself with my windows rolled down and my horn blaring... I was outraged.  I say to GOD if you want me to make a difference in the world, use me here.  I was so upset, I did not know exactly what to do, I sat through the whole green light.  I call this passion for human life, passion for children! GOD help me here, guide me and direct me in every step, oh I need to light!

What do you pass on to your generations?

I am a very stong willed  person when it comes to traditions, like Sunday dinner, Christmas, Easter, birthdays...what is the message we are sending our next generation?  How do we change the message, how do we develop our next generation to be leaders.  I believe it is words, like, you can do it, I believe in you, you are a superstar, you are gifted, you are amazing...words are the life that gives us hope for the future.

In our business we see generations being changed with My smart plans, transparency, efficiency, fair bid, under budget, delivered on time.  I encourage you today to be a word changer!

Relationship...key word to life!

Who is our number one cheerleader, if your answer is someone other yourself you are in trouble!! Relationship with yourself sets us apart from others that are waiting for someone else to build you up, waiting for others to build you up creates a DEEP trouble..can you imagine you have a dear friend that is jealous of you and holds the strings to your self worth..oh the pain.

Relationship on the job site is built through the documents, the game is who got them, when and where did they go and how can I have a side relationship that will allow me to bank on the "change order,"  well my friend those days are done.  Relationships with mysmartplans allows everyone to have the same document, the same time, the same "bat" channel.  The relationship with the owner is now the most important, delivery the project on time and under budget.

Success who defined success for you?

Success?  Who did you ask to define this for you?  If you grew up with someone else defining the word for you, my guess is that you are miserable.  There is only one way to define the word and it is passion, what is burning inside of you?  What is it that when you hear about someone else doing, excites you?  What makes you feel like if I could just do that?  Money is not the definer of success, people are not the gauge, it is purely your passion, your determination, it is what wakes you up at 2am to tell you something. It is the burning desires of your heart....have you even muttered the words of the desire of your hearts?  Talk it, walk it...fake it till you make it!

Try...who ever made up that word? What did you ever "try" that was successful? For me it is either do it or not, this has an impact in my life...I have learned that what I decide to do gets my first attention. In business for instance, I stated in a 700 sq. foot garage, I had no experience in this field, I had to learn from the ground up, from the floor to the ceiling, I jumped in with both feet and put on my game face, we landed in a great position. WE are now in 20 states growing to an international presence. My motto is step up step on, just keep stepping, dont ask permission, just forgiveness!!
