Mayor of Greensburg KS!

Last night I was honored by NAWIC as recipient of the Crystal Vision award...yet that was not the best part of the evening. The speaker at the event was the Mayor of Greensburg, KS...Bob Dixson!

I learned so much about leadership. He was a well spoken, humble servant of God, and a great community leader.  He spoke of community, friendship, and township.  He spoke of us becoming "front porch people" again. He loves his town and he equally loves the people that he serves. 

Where can we find these types of people in our world?  Where are all the gentle giants?  How can our young men learn to be leaders of men?  I was honored to meet him as a man, and I admired his vision.  Thank you Mr. Mayor, you do our country great!

One more time...

Selling is so much fun. Sometimes the cycle is short, and sometimes it takes a few knocks to get the door open.  Knocking is the fun part! Today is just another day; however, knocking doors have opened.  We have been knocking on a large contractor's door. They have squirmed. They have not answered. They have said yes. They have said no. Betrayal..

What kind of word is this?  Betrayal? What happened when the "word" was created?  It stems back to Jesus when he was kissed by Judas, oh the pain and the fear.  What is it in the person that creates such an environment?  Imagine if we changed that word to love?  Love  creates a bond, betrayal creates a bond, love creates an emotion, betrayal creates an emotion.  What is the agenda on both counts, I feel they represent a relationship on both fronts, a relationship with self.  When you betray someone you are defining yourself, not the person to which you have violated.  Love also creates a relationship with self, when you love you are free to be a person of giving, receiving and free to live life to the fullest.  I have observed that betrayal is a life of scarcity, a life of loneliness, a definition of death.

Another lapse in blogging~

New year, new challenge.  This year is going to be a great year, we have a 45% growth scheduled so far.  Challenges bring great opportunites to find yourself and your voice, my voice is strong and ready to be used.  Where did I find it?  Was it ever gone?  What made me see that if I did not use my voice someone else would use theirs? 

Incidents...this year I was delivered my first granddaughter, a name sake, I was to be an example to her.  I am a trailblazer and my daughter and grandaughter are going to be the same way.  My children have given me the courage to find my voice, the courage to step in places I would have never dreamed of.  Courage is uncovered when situations arise that give you a choice, be a victum to it or create it!! I have chosen create it, repurpose yourself, dig deep down, cry if you need to, but be heard!!

Leadership is a loosely used word, this is birthed during the action, you can not train to be a leader, nor are you born a leader, it is the battle you are in that unleashes this trait!
