Mayor of Greensburg KS!

Last night I was honored by NAWIC as recipient of the Crystal Vision award...yet that was not the best part of the evening. The speaker at the event was the Mayor of Greensburg, KS...Bob Dixson!

I learned so much about leadership. He was a well spoken, humble servant of God, and a great community leader.  He spoke of community, friendship, and township.  He spoke of us becoming "front porch people" again. He loves his town and he equally loves the people that he serves. 

Where can we find these types of people in our world?  Where are all the gentle giants?  How can our young men learn to be leaders of men?  I was honored to meet him as a man, and I admired his vision.  Thank you Mr. Mayor, you do our country great!

MySmartPlans was developed because we do not have enough men like Mr. Dixson. Today's marketplace is not a handshake driven market.  MySmartPlans does not ask for a hand shake unless you truly want to be on the same page.  MySmartPlans brings everyone to the same table...games are eliminated...side deals are not created.  Paper is gone and communication is now the key!

One more time...

Selling is so much fun. Sometimes the cycle is short, and sometimes it takes a few knocks to get the door open.  Knocking is the fun part! Today is just another day; however, knocking doors have opened.  We have been knocking on a large contractor's door. They have squirmed. They have not answered. They have said yes. They have said no. They just keep SAYING.  That is when the key comes into play. The owner of the project gave me the key.  The owner will no longer tolerate for the construction documents to be handled by the GC.  The owner is seeing the benefit of hiring a 3rd party to manage & distribute the documents and archive them.

Can you imagine if you went to the bank, made a deposit and told the bank that YOU will manage all the paper work for the transactions?  The old way of documentation is just that.  The documents are managed by the depositor. MySmartPlans is changing the face of construction by managing and archiving project documents as the project goes along.
